May UHF Contest 2023

These series of contests are never popular.  The alignment with the 432MHz Trophy and 10GHz Trophy Contests has helped a little with most QSO's taking place within the periods for those contests.  Activity levels were reported to be low with poor propagation conditions as well.  Matt G0XDI summed it up as 'Pretty awful conditions for most of it! Very little activity and loads of regulars missing'.

Entries were virtually the same as in 2022, but with fewer entrants in the Open section and more in Single Operator Fixed.  Contest ODX was achieved by Erik G8XVJ/P's qso with DA0FF at 870km.  But perhaps more notably John G3XDY was able to work DM5D at 836km on 23cm and 13cm.

Congratulations to all other table leaders and runners up, who together with stations identified, have been awarded certificates.
